Surprisingly diverse and full of rich photo opps, I loved the serenity here and would go back in a heartbeat!

The last day of 7th grade was documented by my up-and-coming videographer.

End of the year picnic for Montessori ... the whole Pre-K class (plus other classes) got together in the park with families in tow.

This is one of my favorite seasons ... and now that I know I have wireless access by the pool, there will be no excuse for staying inside to work! The kids love the water and actually play together, which is a blessing for a mom to see.

Summer is officially here ... my little fish has come out of her playroom for some fun in the sun!

What a year!!! Pre-K was great all the way around. School friends will be missed this summer.

Graduation (and a visit from Grandpa) were big highlights this week!

Mother's Day at a friend's house ... it was fun to see the kids outside enjoying playing with the dogs.

Leaving Nashville ... a lovely photo weekend, and hard to leave. My rearview mirror seemed to hold more than the road ahead!

A night at Putt-Putt ... the family outing was fun, and I got plenty of photo opportunities. This rare moment caught my oldest actually facing the camera without covering his face!

My young one was prepared to golf ... wristguards and everything! She is serious!

This weekend we did something new ... CAMPING! Fortunately, I had a tub of unused camping gear, so we joined our friends at the lake. It was wonderful ... and made me realize how little time I take to actually relax. I think this will be a priority (taking advantage of such opportunities) this summer! 

Our big adventure was being stranded "at sea" and subsequently rescued by a boatful of SERIOUS senior fishermen! 

My oldest one had plenty of learning experiences as well ... one of which was woodcutting (including the full course in axe sharpening)! 

My little one had many experiences ... from boats to dogs, climbing rocks to balancing on logs! 

Spending some time in Atlanta was wonderful ... I spent some time with a close friend of mine and I even got to see old friends! It wasn't all easy, though, as I filled them in on life events of the past year.
