It was the first flower of the year to bloom in our yard ... and my first floral photograph! This is the one that got me started.

Grandparents
One of the photos on the table at my grandmothers funeral ... I had never seen this before. I barely remember my grandfather walking ... just a walker and then a wheelchair. He died when I was in 5th grade. Grandma lived a long time alone! I admire her for her determination and her strength. Even to the last time I saw her, she was always wanting to take care of her guests and not the other way around!
