The most awesome shot I've witnessed! His best friend whirled around the corner aiming at the mirror ... and WHAM! We all laughed until our sides hurt.

6 Years ... These two have been close friends for SIX YEARS! It's hard to believe we've been in Augusta that long. And the reality of leaving is starting to set in with my oldest boy. His best friend leaves in 2 weeks to be with grandparents for the summer ... so this is our last chance to spend time with him before we move!

Sometimes it just takes a moment to look up and you realize something beautiful is waiting quietly with a gift. And while it is visible to all, it feels like an intimate gift from heaven just for me. It's a moment that captures my attention, takes my breath away, and makes me realize that no matter what is going on around me, something much bigger and more spectacular is silently awaiting discovery. And for that moment, I stop and I see and I breathe and I smile for I feel like God has reminded me to look up. 

Sometimes this is how I feel. 

As my little one called to me that she was ready to go outside, I had to catch my breath just a bit and tell her "WAIT RIGHT THERE!" She was posed strikingly similar to my mother's favorite childhood photo of me.

This is me ... a LONG time ago! This was one of my mom's favorite photos of me ... so you can see why I grabbed my camera as my own child appeared by the front door with an umbrella!

Look who learned how to rider her bike ... WITH NO TRAINING WHEELS! 

It was the last performance of the year ... and in Georgia! I'm really proud of my young musician, he seems to have plenty of talent! I heard these songs "hummed" for weeks and weeks and weeks ... so it was wonderful to hear the real deal!

An excitable little friend was also at the concert ... little did we realize that their older siblings were also in the same class!

Today we saw dogs ...

... and puppies ...

... and kittens ...

... and fish ...

... and more dogs!

We drank slushies from REALLY BIG straws ... the napkin sign was still there and I couldn't resist a photo!

And the little skater was more of a pro than the rest of us (as I type with one arm after breaking the other not long after this photo was taken)!

Denver layover ... long but quite tempting for photos as rain storms blew through.

Loved the architecture of the convention center in Anaheim!!! I'm wishing I were here to help my company, but I'm really here for a photoshoot with Mrs. USA! She's an upcoming cover feature for WDJ.

This weekend, I enjoyed the beautiful flora of CALIFORNIA!!!

We got to be kids for a night ... WOOHOO!

Guess where we are? On our way to Branson! It's me and the kids this time. I've got another photoshoot! But this one is close to grandma and grandpa's house. So it's a quick adventue! 

Thumbs up! I mean TOES UP for swimming in grandma and grandpa's pool! 

We had a pretty wonderful day at Silver Dollar City!
